The Towers welcomes submissions from all members of the WPI community -- students, faculty, administration, and staff. In order to get your article(s) in print, the following submission guidelines are to be followed as strictly as possible.
     

     All articles and Club Corner submissions are due by 11:59 P.M. on every Friday preceding publication, unless prior arrangements are made with a member of the editorial staff. Such articles should be submitted to our sharepoint site (for students and faculty witha WPI account) at https://sharepoint.wpi.edu/orgs/thetowers or via e-mail to towers@wpi.edu in the form of an attached Microsoft document. Any images the author would like to have run with a given article must not be inserted into the Word document, but rather be attached separately to the e-mail in .jpg, .tif, .gif, .pdf, or .png format. Club corners should be 275 words or less. Articles should be 300 words or more. Article submissions should have a headline, subheadline, author name, and affiliation or graduation year placed at the top of the document. The editorial staff reserves the right to modify headlines to suit the constraints of layout. Font should be Times New Roman, 12 pt. Only the first letter of your headline should be capitalized, and there should be no special format to any of the text. Please do not insert a tab at the beginning of each paragraph, but instead use line breaks. Use only a single space after each period. Articles should be left justified, single spaced, standard Word files -- not formatted into columns or surrounded by boxing or artwork. The staff reserves the right to reformat articles as deemed necessary.

     Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. in the Tech News office (CC225) of the Campus Center and is open to everyone. Unless otherwise posted, all of our meetings for the year are normally at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesdays in the student publications office.
